Pros

Pro? Well, due to current laws, you are able to quit because slavery is illegal.

Cons

No perks. No reason to stick around to advance through the ranks as the only reason managers leave is because the job is either terrible, or they aren't receiving the support that is needed. Constantly having to find cover staff. No overtime, or extra pay for working holidays such as Christmas eve/day/boxing day or New years eve/day. £7.50 per hour is a joke compared to what you have to deal with. Working around fuel is no joke. Having to clean up fuel is no joke.

Pros

No good reasons for working, sly area managers and get treated like dirt.

Cons

I worked for eurogarages as a greggs manager for 9 months, they used me to the full and took full advantage out if me by using me as they could not get no staff to take on the manager responsibility, please never work as a manager for eurogarages.

Pros

You can progress quickly as the company is expanding but unwilling to pay fair wages - external high calibre personnel are wise enough not to work for them.

Cons

I have been working for EG around some time now and I can honestly say that I have not encountered a single person that has anything positive to say about EG from colleagues / customers / suppliers / anyone remotely involved with EG. The company has grown massively in a short space of time but unfortunately upper management have not. Senior operation management teams have a corner shop mentality and are not qualified to be running a company of this size. Amongst their achievements are: creating extremely poor working conditions, poor wages across the board, no training & development for those at the forefront of the business, extremely low staff morale, & thats to name just a few. When you are under qualified for a senior role there is a tendency to develop an ego of some sort. That together with a complete lack of professionalism is what colleagues have to deal with on a day to day basis when having to communicate with head office. They speak to you as if you are some sort of scum.
