Hi. Thanks for sharing your feedback and perspective. Our people really do make N26 a great place to work, and we love your shoutout here for our amazing engineering teams. We would definitely second this (+1). With regards to the feedback you have raised around needing to better understand our mid- to long-term strategy, and how we approach decision making in the company, this is something our executive leadership team (ELT) has taken onboard and is in the process of addressing. Our ELT has established a forum with our 50 most senior leaders in the organization, with the intention of receiving more input and feedback from a larger group of leaders. This is so that we can provide more transparency and context for important decisions, and work together on the strategic direction of the company. These leaders will also have the responsibility to channel your input and feedback into these conversations. Within this forum, we hope to foster a strong dialogue on our strategic direction. As we’ve navigated through a period of very fast growth in recent years, followed by the challenges brought on this year by the pandemic, we know it has been a difficult time for many. Throughout all of this, N26ers have continued to drive the business forward, and we couldn’t be more proud of the teamwork, sense of ownership, and all the great achievements we’ve seen. We’re grateful to have you on this journey with us, and appreciate you speaking up to share your feedback.

good pay, I had a good manager, but they are difficult to come by, Urban sports discount, bvg discount - lots of freebies to trick you

Everything they told me about the role that I wouldn't have to do they then made me do it all within the first few weeks. Working hours make it impossible to have good mental health or a life outside of work. The shift patterns made no sense, it was hard to create any sort of team culture as everyone was put on completely different shifts and moved around within teams all of the time, the shifts also made it impossible to be able to organise anything outside of work. I would never recommend this job to anyone, the work is extremely tedious and N26 often didn't even have any answers for customers which just created more anger, with us, cs staff having to try our best to do anything to calm them down, or send them an automated response that would just anger them even more, a complete mess to be honest. Also the phone training was completely useless.

It’s encouraging for us to hear you had a good working relationship with your manager, and that you enjoyed your perks and benefits. However, it’s clear that your expectations for training and scheduling were not met, and we would like to respond to these concerns. This year we have increased the weekly training hours for our Customer Service Specialists, to ensure they are kept up to date and are empowered with the relevant knowledge and skills to answer all of our customers' questions. We have also reviewed and refreshed our catalog of training workshops, with the intention of keeping our content innovative and engaging for the learner. We continue to update and work on our Knowledge Base, to make information, updates and answers quick and easy to find. We have a dedicated scheduling team that is available to support our team and answer their questions. Above and beyond complying with all labour laws (i.e. resting time, consecutive working days, days off & break scheduling etc.), we aim to match our people with their preferred schedules as much as possible. In 2020, the percentage of preference granted is above 70%. Of course there will always be a balance required, to ensure we cover our operating hours and meet changing business drivers such as customer growth and the evolution of our product. We guarantee a minimum of 2 weekends off per month, and put measures in place to prevent people from having different shifts everyday. We appreciate that there is always room for improvement, and we have shared your feedback with our leadership team in CS for further reflection and action. Our goal is to continue to improve our employee experience, and your feedback plays an important role in this. Thanks for getting in touch, and for being a part of the journey with us.
