Pros

Working on the modern stack isn't too bad. The cantina is pretty decent. Car lease rates can be excellent.

Cons

If you aren't one of the chosen few, you will find no upward path in this company. Profit sharing is total rubbish. In a year when the family increased it's net worth by over a billion, and received $70M in dividends, total bonus payments to employees were $30-50M (standard 10%). Even as an employee, I had trouble with 75-80% of the rentals I made. Many incompetent employees spread around many departments. No communication about what is happening. The offices suck and they refuse to put in any A/C.

Pros

Great employee benefits, good super plan, thorough training and the colleagues are really friendly and always look for the best in people.

Cons

Too much focus on quantity over quality, managers not great at giving ongoing support and coaching, high expectations even during quiet season makes you feel like you're being set up to fail.

Pros

- Supportive and friendly colleagues. - Great location in Central Berlin

Cons

*I know the culture and product has stabilised since I left, from speaking to friends who still work there, however, in early 2018 when I left, I had experienced the following: - A lack of agility - a slow response time to fix bugs or improve UX, either on internal or customer-facing software. - Management was preoccupied with pursuing dead-end leads, at the expense of real opportunities. - Indecision on what Mydriver was to become, from which part of the market they would target to the mission statement of the company.
